Date 11/12/18: Arrival in Delhi airport

Arrive Delhi and check into your hotel. A half-day sightseeing tour of historical monuments like the Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate and Parliament House. In the evening, catch the sound and light show at the Red Fort, another important Mughal monument. Dinner & Overnight Delhi.

Date 12/12/18: Delhi - Agra by Surface (250 km / 4-5 hrs.)

After breakfast drive 200 km to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal and one of the most popular destinations in the world. Visit Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra, enroute to Agra. Check into your hotel. Then, a visit to the Taj Mahal. Also visit the Agra Fort which was designed as a military base by Akbar. Dinner & Overnight Agra.

Date 13/12/18: Agra - Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri by Surface (250 km / 5 hrs.)

After breakfast drive 240 km to the pink city of Jaipur via the imposing monument of Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive in Jaipur and check into your hotel. Half-day sightseeing of Jaipur city. Visit the Jantar Mantar, Hawa-Mahal, City Palace and the bazaars of Jaipur for some excellent shopping. Overnight Jaipur.

Date 14/12/18: Jaipur – Delhi by Surface (260 km / 5-6 hrs.)

After earlier breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of the Pink City- Jaipur by climbing up to the Amber fort (located on a hill) in a royal fashion riding on an elephant. Afterwards, depart to see some awesome examples of Rajput architecture: Hawa Mahal which is called so because it has 935 windows. Also explore the museum in City Palace and Jantar Mantarof Jaipur which exhibits astronomical devices of past times. After Sightseeing drive to Delhi and reach at Delhi within 5-6 hrs. Date 15/12/18: Delhi – Srinagar (by flight within 1 hour)

Arrival in Srinagar, city tour, Hotel stay: On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes’ drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River. After some rest, a day of local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar (if possible) Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Date 16/12/18: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar. (176 kms up down)

After breakfast proceeds to full day excursion of Sonmarg Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 88 Kms (2 ½ hours’ drive) it’s also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Date 18/12/18: Pahalgam - Gulmarg (146 km / 4 Hrs.)

After breakfast leave for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 mts. above the sea level. The distance of 146 kms will be covered in about 4 hours. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feet’s and dominates the entire region, also enjoy cable car (Gondola) for mountain ride up to khilangmarg at own cost . Dinner Overnight stay at Gulmarg.

Day 19/12/18: Gulmarg to Srinagar 60 Kms

After breakfast enjoy the Skiing on snow at own cost. Afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Dinner overnight in Srinagar Hotel.

Dachigam National Park day trip (22 kms/ 1 hr) : After breakfast, set out for an excursin to Dachigam National Park. Located 22 kms from Srinagar city, the park was once the private game preserve of Maharaja Gulab Singh. The park is situated at altitude ranging from 5500 ft to 14,000 ft. Due to the variation in altitude; the park is demarcated into upper and lower regions. The best time to visit the park is: upper Dachigam from months of May till August; lower Dachigam from months of September till December. Bird watching is best in the months of March till May. The park is popular as the home of the rare and critically endangered Hangul or Kashmir stag. The other famous attractions of the park are Himalayan Black Bear, Markhor, Ibex and exotic birds.
